Iranian movie ‘A Hairy Tale’ has been received well at Warsaw Int’l Film Festival, Poland.
Directed by Homayoun Ghanizadeh, the movie is currently being screened at the 2019 edition of the festival.
‘A Hairy Tale’ is welcomed by the audiences during its international premier.
The plot summary for cinematic debut ‘A Hairy Tale’ reads, “Danesh is fond of cinema and in love with Homa, the city’s favorite actress. Mr. Kazem is fond of Casablanca and his business license.”
“Shapour is fond of tuna fish ... The city is filled with beggars and on the verge of an imminent earthquake. Also, every once in a while, a corpse of a woman with a shaved head is washed up on shore,” the synopsis adds.
The film boasts a string of award-winning stars on the cast list such as Ali Nasiriyan, Saber Abar, Babak Hamidiyan, Reza Kianian, and Hediyeh Tehrani.
The 35th edition of the Warsaw International Film Festival is currently underway from October 11-20, 2019.
